A missed ferry ride to Camotes Island brought me to a private paradise not so far away from the City.

I haven’t heard of Olango Island, not until a quick Google search of beaches near Lapu-lapu City. This small island is approximately 15 minutes away from Mactan, making it an ideal day trip if you have a spare time in Cebu.

Olango Island is basically known for its Wildlife Sanctuary. Aside from that fact, my friend and I just asked the locals to bring us to a good resort since we just wanted a place to crash for the day.

Few minutes from the wharf, we ended up in Casa Blanca by the Sea Resort.
